Depending on time allowed by organization, the following is offer by the El Paso Mission Trail tour guides:

Student Tours

  1. If having a a sack lunch, we recommend a starting point in the Silver Domed Ysleta Mission.  A second stop at the Tigua Cultural Center and Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Museum.  From the museum, we visit the Socorro Mission where we will share its history.  Our last stop is in San Elizario.  We will visit the beautiful chapel, the Los Portales Museum of Geneology, and a small jail in which Billy the Kid was jailed.  Lunch can then be taken at the San Elizario Veterans memorial Placita and finishing up at Licon’s Dairy. (approximate time:  3:00 hours)
  2. If having lunch within the City of El Paso, we suggest a starting point in the San Elizario area, visiting the Chapel, the Los Portales Museum of Geneology, the Jail and Licon’s Dairy before heading to the Mission of Socorro.  From there we will visit the Tigua Cultural Center and Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Museum.  After a brief stay at the museum, we will conclude our tour by visiting the Ysleta Mission.  (approximate time:  3:00 hours)

* Tours can be tailored to accommodate different age groups and interests. 

Group Tours:

Tours can be tailored to the organization’s needs and purpose.   There are other Mission Trail sites that can be visited.  Plenty of local restaurant are available to hold meetings and events. 

Rates:
$2.50 per person on groups of 30+.
$5.00 per person on groups between 10-29
Groups smaller than 10 please call for quote
A minimum of a 24 hour notice is required for all tours.
